Job Description:
As a Quality Control Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring, testing, and inspecting production processes and products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
- Maintain and update IATF/ISO quality documentation and records.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure process compliance.
- Prepare daily and weekly quality reports, including rejection analysis and trend tracking.
- Handle customer quality complaints and coordinate with the client’s QC department for audits or feedback.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in automotive or precision manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of measurement tools (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, CMM).
- Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA documentation.
- Understanding of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 standards.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, ERP entry).
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong communication skills, team collaboration, report writing.
Salary & Benefits:
- Pay Range: ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month (depending on experience).
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Monday to Saturday).
- Other Benefits: PF, ESI, performance bonuses, and canteen facility.
