Job Summary
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products to retail shops, wholesalers, and customers in the assigned Kanchipuram area.
You will be the face of the company in the field — visiting outlets, maintaining relationships, and ensuring sales targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit local shops, retailers, and distributors daily within assigned routes.
- Present, promote, and sell products to potential customers.
- Generate new leads and maintain a regular customer base.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collect payments, submit invoices, and maintain sales reports.
- Gather feedback from customers and communicate to the sales manager.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
- Build strong customer relationships to increase repeat sales.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain records of customer visits, sales, and follow-ups in CRM/logbook.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass or any diploma/degree.
- Good communication skills in Tamil (basic English is an advantage).
- Confident, energetic, and self-motivated personality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Basic smartphone usage (WhatsApp, Google Maps, sales tracking apps).
- Two-wheeler and driving license preferred for local travel.
Work Schedule
- Days: Monday – Saturday (Sunday off)
- Timing: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Location coverage: Kanchipuram town + nearby villages within 20 km radius
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed salary ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month
- Performance-based incentives up to ₹5,000 – ₹10,000/month
- Travel allowance (fuel reimbursement or company vehicle)
- Mobile recharge or communication allowance
- On-job training provided for new hires
- Potential for promotion to Area Sales Manager based on performance
