The M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, also known as the Chepauk Stadium, is a historic cricket ground in Chepauk, Chennai, India, established in 1916 and recognized as the second oldest functional cricket stadium in the country. It serves as the primary home venue for the Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings and the Tamil Nadu state cricket team. The stadium is famous for hosting India’s inaugural Test match victory in 1952 and the second tied Test in history in 1986.
