Kanchipuram: At least six people died after a bus collided with an auto-rickshaw on East Coast Road near Mamallapuram in Manamai village in Kanchipuram District in Tamil Nadu on May 4. The accident happened when a state roadways bus, on the way to Puducherry, collided with an auto-rickshaw.
“Six dead after state roadways bus, en route to Puducherry, collided with an auto-rickshaw on East Coast Road near Mamallapuram in Manamai village in Kanchipuram District,” said Police.
All six persons belonged to the same family and included two children. The family was returning to Chennai in an auto from Karapakkam when the vehicle rammed into a State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) bus proceeding to Puducherry from here, at Manamai village on East Coast Road.
